Beautiful location in the nature, very caring staff, everything was excellent. Got abundant and outstanding breakfasts and overall had a JUST PERFECT stay overall for a visit and stay. Location: the hotel was just next door to a farther train station, Kagoiwa Onsen, and the river which had a pretty view. Apart from that, Togawa Bridge was 15 minutes' drive away.

Off the beaten path, remote ryokan with river views. Fantastic staff, comfortable rooms, and breathtaking indoor/outdoor onsen overlooking the river and mountains. Delicious, beautifully presented traditional Japanese meals. Enjoyed coffee on the deck, admiring autumn colors and crisp mornings. Will definitely return!

the ryokan was nestled in nature by a beautiful river, creating a laid-back and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were extremely attentive and kind, going above and beyond to accommodate us. They even offered our daughter gifts and snacks, and one staff member even insisted on driving us to the nearest city. The onsen water was lovely, and it was great that the ryokan was tattoo-friendly. it was a value-for-money option, easily accessible from Tokyo.
The location of the hotel was quite remote, which made it difficult to find activities in the surrounding area without a car. Additionally, the facilities seemed a bit dated, especially in the common areas.
Tourists from United States of America often stay at these properties. Consider them for your next trip.
